Optimistic Expectations

While my honey is off at sea for an off shore fishing tournament where there is no cell tower within 100 mile radius, I'm left here on dry land contemplating all the exciting things that are coming up in my life.

 And I can't help but smile!

My hot mama and I are going for a beach trip next week. A trip that is long over due! Its going to be great laying out, reading a good book, going out to fun restaurants! And having a few grown-up drinks of course! I know she's excited too. We haven't been able to go to the beach for a real vacation in......years, so long I can't even remember. Hopefully the weather won't be as bad weather.com is predicting so we can get SAVAGE. 

Then after a lovely week on the gulf coast with mom, I'll be spending a month doing absolutely nothing but spending some QT with my sugar! We'll be cooking, dining, movie watching and beach bumming all of July. Can't wait to see what we get into. Maybe we'll do something that's actually post-worthy.

This one is for you

I haven't posted in quite a while, mainly because I'm not so much into this thing and have 0 followers, but there is one person out there that checks this silly little thing every once in a while just to see if maybe i posted something new. You know who you are. So I'm making a post just for you! To show you just how much you mean to me.

The way we met still amazes me! I feel like I won the lottery. We met over two years ago by chance and managed to stay connected and now look at us! We've been forreals for almost a whole year!  WOW.

 

So here we are a year later, and I couldn't be happier. Sure its tough not seeing you all the time but I think in this case its what really made this work for me. That sounds kind of bad but don't take it that way. I only mean that being apart has given us the chance to really get to know each other and makes the time we are together so much better! So while the frequent flier miles are racking up, my feelings for you are only getting stronger!

 Well in about a week we'll be together day in and day out! Its going to be a true test of our feelings, but I'm almost positive that we can make it through without killing one another. I can't wait. Its going to be fantastic!

I've come to love this place, a place called Sunday Beach. On this particular day me and this guy and this dog we're the last ones out there. After all the other boats called it a day, we lagged behind and had this whole stretch of sand and water to ourselves. We had a photo shoot for Honey in which she took some outstanding pictures; calender worthy if I do say so myself. We had a photo shoot for ourselves. Then we enjoyed our tropical drinks (fruit punch and vodka) and watched the sun set. It was a great day for us and I'm ready for a repeat!

Found this Headboard on a ridiculously expensive home decor site. I like the whole leather headboard look. Don't think I'd go for this one particularly (seems a little too masculine) but still, I like.
